Although it has appeared through April that Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel might be the No. 1 pick in tonight’s NFL draft, it’s looking as if the Kansas City Chiefs may go in another direction.
Central Michigan’s Eric Fisher is the offensive tackle who will be the Chiefs’ choice, Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reports, with other analysts chiming in overnight. Of course, until Commissioner Roger Goodell approaches the Radio City Music Hall podium with a card in his hand, anything can happen.
Although most believe Chiefs take Luke Joeckel, I do not, I believe Chiefs will take Eric Fisher w #1 pick. Big, nasty, fits city

The Chiefs are also talking about moving left tackle Brandon Albert, in addition to taking calls about the No. 1 pick. Chiefs General Manager John Dorsey and Coach Andy Reid have four players they’re considering at No. 1, USA Today reported. But that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t consider an offer for the pick.
“I got a few calls this morning and this afternoon,” Dorsey told Lindsay H. Jones as his phone buzzed. “And as you can see, here come some more. You have to explore every option, and that’s what we’re going to do.”
