Joe Gibbs lands at No. 9 on ESPN’s list of NFL’s greatest coaches

In its countdown of the top NFL coaches of all time (also known as “Hey, it’s summer and we need an NFL feature”), ESPN put the Washington Redskins’ legendary coach, Joe Gibbs, at No. 9 Monday.

Yep, the man who won three Super Bowls the hard way — with three different quarterbacks — ranked ninth.

Can’t wait to see the how remaining eight shake out…which was probably ESPN’s whole idea in the first place. They have to be (listing alphabetically): Bill Belichick, Paul Brown, George Halas, Tom Landry, Vince Lombardi, Chuck Noll, Don Shula and Bill Walsh. Right? But in what order?
