Vince Young is getting another shot at an NFL career.
The quarterback, who couldn’t crack the Buffalo Bills roster last summer, will work out for the Green Bay Packers today, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
Just as in Buffalo, there’s an opportunity for Young, who couldn’t capitalize with the Bills. The Packers have Graham Harrell and B.J. Coleman splitting reps behind Aaron Rodgers in training camp and Coleman struggled in a scrimmage Saturday night.
Young, the 2006 Offensive Rookie of the Year, was released by the Tennessee Titans in July 2011 after a controversial stay in which he feuded publicly with former coach Jeff Fisher.
Young also worked out during the offseason for the Oakland Raiders.
