Lamar Odom is not missing, allegedly has drug problem, report says

The agent for Lamar Odom disputed a report that the NBA free-agent center is missing and ESPN, quoting an unnamed source, reported that Odom is in a Los Angeles hotel where friends are trying to convince him to seek help for a drug problem.

An odd story that grows increasingly odder began Sunday when TMZ reported Odom’s wife, Khloe Kardashian, and family believed he was missing and using drugs. On Monday, agent Jeff Schwartz told ESPN that “Lamar is not missing. His wife knows exactly where he is.”

Odom and Kardashian have “effectively” separated, TMZ reports, and the New York Post adds that he faces a custody and child-support battle in Manhattan next month with his high-school sweetheart, with whom he has two children.

Odom, 33, is a free agent who played last year for the Los Angeles Clippers, averaging four points and 5.8 rebounds in 82 games. With more known about Odom’s whereabouts, reaction began to pour in from around the NBA:
