Either the good people of Oklahoma know something about the inner workings of a certain NCAA investigation or they’re unfamiliar with the concept of “don’t poke the bear.”

Whatever the underlying reason, Fowler Toyota in Norman — home of the Oklahoma Sooners — filmed a commercial in which “Johnny Savings” gets cash for signing autographs, a clear reference to Johnny Football, a k a Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, who is the subject of an NCAA investigation over autographs.

Never mind that Oklahoma lost to A&M in the Cotton Bowl, there are Toyotas to sell.
