Talk about a modern family.
Blake Griffin became a father for the first time last month when his son, Ford Wilson Cameron-Griffin, was born. The little guy’s mom, Brynn Cameron, had a well-publicized relationship — and baby — with Matt Leinart. Which means that Matt Leinart’s 6-year-old son, Cole, is the half-brother to Blake Griffin’s kid.
“We are very happy to have a healthy baby, but respectfully request to keep our personal affairs private and let us focus on parenting our son,” Griffin said, confirming the birth in a statement to the Los Angeles Times.
Brynn Cameron formerly played basketball at USC, where Leinart played quarterback, and shortly after they broke up, she announced that she was pregnant. Now, multiple reports indicate that Cameron and Griffin are no longer seeing one another.
If the name Cameron rings a bell, it may be because Brynn Cameron’s brother, Jordan, played football at USC and is now a tight end for the Cleveland Browns. (He reportedly is dating supermodel Erin Heatherton, but that’s an item for another day). Back before the NFL draft, Griffin went to bat for Cameron with a video.
