Lane Kiffin, Tennessee: All is not forgiven

At the University of Tennessee, they haven’t forgotten that Lane Kiffin spent a year as the Volunteers coach before bolting for USC.

Can’t blame them. The team went 7-6, was dinged by the NCAA for some violations and had to ride the apology train for accusing Urban Meyer of violating recruiting rules. (Okay, that last one was kind of fun.)

In Knoxville, a restaurant is serving its chicken and dumplin’s with a new moniker: Lane Kiffin’s Crow and Dough. Yum.

“He’s an easy target,” April Heer, bar manager at the Bistro at the Bijou, told WBIR. “It’s kind of like having this really cute guy dump you and then [he] gets dumped by another girl, you know? Left you for another girl then got dumped by that girl.”

She laughed when she said that, but added,  “So it feels good.”
