Michael Vick is likely to miss the Philadelphia Eagles’ game Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because of a hamstring injury.

Vick was injured in the second quarter of the Eagles’ victory over the New York Giants and underwent an MRI today. ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported the update on Vick’s status. On Sunday, Vick described the injury, which occurred on a run.

“I felt a pop, and I couldn’t run,” he said. “I felt a pop. That was it.”

Nick Foles, who threw two fourth-quarter touchdown passes against the Giants, would start in Vick’s place. On Sunday, Vick completed 6 of 14 passes for 104 yards and rushed seven times for 79. Foles, who entered the game just before halftime, completed 16-of-25 passes for 197 yards and two touchdowns.
