Justin Tuck tweets a little more trash talk to Cowboys

The New York Giants’ trash-talking psych job last week worked. Only problem is that it worked for the Dallas Cowboys.

“They were 4-6,” Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick said (via NJ.com). “I don’t think I’ve ever heard a 4-6 team talk like that. You know what? Sometimes you just have to be quiet.”

Now they’re 4-7 after a 24-21 loss to the Cowboys in MetLife Stadium. Among other last week, Jason Pierre-Paul had flapped that blood would be spilled and Terrell Thomas guaranteed that the team would win its fifth straight game.

“There’s no question they have done a lot over the past six or seven years,” Cowboys tight end Jason Witten said. “And I have a lot of respect for them, but every day, it seemed there was a new guy coming out and saying something about how they were going to beat us.”

The Cowboys kept their mouths shut…until the game ended.

Jason Hatcher, admitted that he wasn’t “showing a lot of class” postgame, joked that he had blood on his face because “I just finished eating a Giant … all of them. I’ll be full for about three days.”

This one was ugly before kickoff…

…and on the day after. Feelings were still raw, as Justin Tuck’s “read between the rings” tweet illustrated.
