Warren Buffett’s billion safer after Dayton upsets Ohio State

The NCAA tournament opened with a big upset and, if you listen closely, you can hear the Oracle of Omaha cackling.

Dayton, an 11th seed, upended sixth-seeded Ohio State 60-59, solidifying Warren Buffett’s position (and that of his insurance company) in the Quicken Loans Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge that offered a cool bil for a perfect bracket. Of course, lots of people picked Dayton to win, so Buffett isn’t off the hook yet. But the result triggered what seemed like a billion tweets about the end of the unlikely prospect of winning Buffett’s bucks; here are a few of the best:
