Harrison twins will return to Kentucky, Wildcats will be insanely stacked next season

Twins Andrew and Aaron Harrison will return to Kentucky for their sophomore seasons, Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting.

The Harrison brothers were two of the highest-rated recruits out of high school, choosing to play for John Calipari at Kentucky over Maryland. Aaron Harrison was a breakout star of this year’s NCAA tournament, hitting clutch shot after clutch shot as the Wildcats advanced to the NCAA title game.

With the Harrisons back in Lexington, Kentucky is almost certain to be the No. 1 team in the country — as it was before last season — when the preseason polls come out later this year (heck, this would have been true if they had left). Willie Cauley-Stein, Dakari Johnson, Alex Poythress and Marcus Lee already announced they are staying at Kentucky, and Calipari has an incoming recruiting class that is ranked No. 2 in the country by 247sports.com. CBSSports.com’s Gary Parrish says the team will have “at least nine and perhaps 10 future NBA Draft picks” on its roster as the Wildcats look to make the Final Four for the fourth time in five seasons.
