Magic Johnson vowed never to attend another Los Angeles Clippers game as long as Donald Sterling is the owner after an audio recording on TMZ captured the owner urging his girlfriend to stop bringing blacks to games and to delete an Instagram photo she posted in which she posed with the Los Angeles Lakers Hall of Famer.

Later in the day, Johnson called Clippers Coach Doc Rivers.

The NBA promised to look into the remarks by Sterling and it’s a challenge for Adam Silver, the man who replaced David Stern as commissioner this winter.

More on Sterling and the Clippers:

President Obama on Sunday described comments reportedly made by the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers as racist and part of a continuing legacy that Americans must fight. (AP)
