Is Clippers’ Glen Davis dirty or simply clumsy?

(Associated Press)

Golden State defeated the L.A. Clippers on Thursday night to force Game 7 in their NBA first-round playoff series, but the Warriors lost veteran big man Jermaine O’Neal early in the second quarter after the Clippers’ Glen “Big Baby” Davis awkwardly lunged at his legs while going for a loose ball.

Take a look. Roger Goodell would likely say that warrants an ejection.

O’Neal, who has taken on a greater role with starting center Andrew Bogut out with a rib injury, didn’t return to the game and is scheduled to have an MRI exam on Friday morning (X-Rays taken revealed that his leg was not fractured, O’Neal said). After the game, the Warriors didn’t mince their words when talking about the play.

“Either he has terrible balance for a professional athlete or he was trying to dive towards my legs,” O’Neal said, per News10.net. “We’ll talk. We’ll talk.”
