Jay Z, Beyonce watch Nets troll Drake

Forget the battle on the court between the Toronto Raptors and the Brooklyn Nets.

The real show features Jay Z and Drake. The lint-rolling Canadian rapper was courtside at the Barclays Center for Game 6 of the series and, sitting at the opposite end of the scorers’ table was Jay Z and Beyonce. It was a perfect opportunity for the Nets to have a little fun at Drake’s expense and they did. Oh, yes, they did. First, the team superimposed a Nets jersey on him when he was shown on the scoreboard. Solid, if rather amateurish, fun.

Then the Nets one-upped the score, playing Jay Z’s “Public Service Announcement” as Jay Z and Beyoncé appeared amused.

The ball is now in Drake’s court after the Nets forced Game 7 in Toronto with a 97-83 win.
