The Toronto Raptors were bounced from the playoffs in about the toughest way possible: In Game 7. By one point.
Paul Pierce blocked Kyle Lowry’s shot in the final seconds, giving the Brooklyn Nets a 104-103 victory and a berth in the next round against the Miami Heat. It was an awful loss that quickly dissipated the fandemonium outside the arena during the game and left everyone wondering: Just how is Drake taking this? Not well. But his pain was the internet’s gain.
First, there was this from Jay Z, who ended a 10-month Twitter lapse to congratulate the Raptors.
Congrats Toronto on a hard fought series. #spreadloveitsthebrooklynway— Mr. Carter (@S_C_) May 4, 2014
Given the way Jay Z and the Nets trolled Drake in Brooklyn, there was no message there. Oh, no.
Everyone else was a little less subtle.

Pierce blowing kisses to the crowd, as they boo him. He’ll be in Miami on Tuesday.— Ethan J. Skolnick (@EthanJSkolnick) May 4, 2014
Pretty excited for Drake to show up in Oklahoma City this week in a Durant jersey and act like nothing happened.— Jonathon Graas (@JHGraas) May 4, 2014
Or he can grab his Heat cap and head for Miami.
