Dogecoin zoomed into the lexicon of thousands of NASCAR fans Sunday, when Josh Wise drove a racecar adorned with Dogecoin’s logo, a Shiba Inu, to a 20th place finish at the Talladega Superspeedway. And it looked awesome.

The entirely crowd-funded Ford, sponsored by the cryptocurrency Dogecoin, was among the top five cars with less than 25 laps to go, but fell back after barely avoiding a four-car pileup with 14 laps left. Those on Reddit who initiated the crowd-funding project seemed more than happy, however, with spot 20. They flooded the Web site with thousands of exclamation-point laden messages of congratulations to Wise. And Wise, in kind, thanked his supporters.
