Joe Haden becomes second-highest paid NFL cornerback behind Richard Sherman

Johnny Manziel might want to share his “cash money” hand gestures with his new Cleveland Browns teammate Joe Haden. The cornerback signed a five-year, $68 million contract extension with the organization today. According to ESPN, $23 million is fully guaranteed.

Needless to say, Haden is pretty excited about the new deal, even though the admittedly very, very high total doesn’t quite surpass the per-year total achieved by the Seattle Seahawks’ Richard Sherman, who signed a four-year extension last week worth $57.4 million. At some point, though, you might as well just stop counting…
