Take a look at every MLB franchise’s first Sports Illustrated cover

The Atlanta Braves, then known as the Milwaukee Braves, scored the very first cover of Sports Illustrated on Aug. 16, 1954. The Giants, now of San Francisco and then of New York, landed the next baseball cover on April 11, 1955. I could continue listing when each team landed its first Sports Illustrated cover, but what’s the point when you can look at them instead? Here’s a slideshow featuring all 30 teams, except it’s only 29 covers, meaning two teams debuted on a shared one. Can you guess which ones?
