Music producer and singer Pharrell Williams has been tapped to curate the soundtrack for the upcoming “NBA 2K15″ video game and he seems pretty “Happy” about this. (GET IT?!) Williams takes over the duty of choosing the game’s music from rapper Jay-Z and new-again Cleveland Cavalier LeBron James.

“I couldn’t believe my name got tossed in the hat!” Williams said at a press conference this week. He added that he was “honored,” according to Billboard, which also noted the track list is almost complete and includes songs from System of a Down and Strafe, but the full list won’t be fully revealed until later this summer. He told Billboard:

“I was like, ‘I have to do this, [but] I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to pull this off, because Jay did it and LeBron.’ I’m like, man, how do I follow up those guys? They know so much more about the sport than I do.”

The video game’s North American release date is October 7.
