The ‘Bark at the Park’ promotion has proven so popular that even some major league teams are doing it. However, we’ll probably never see the day when a  big-league squad, or any team for that matter, breaks out jerseys like these. The amount of awesome here couldn’t possibly fit in a purse.

The El Paso Chihuahuas, the Class AAA affiliate of the Padres, are taking their August Bark at the Park to a whole new level. Not only can fans bring their furry friends to the stadium, but the team is going to wear yap-tastic jerseys honoring its namesake. Those jerseys will then be auctioned off during the game, with the proceeds going to the El Paso’s Humane Society.

But if you are going to bring a dog to Southwest University Park, you had better come correct. The team is requiring that dog owners “must show proof of the following vaccinations: Rabies, DHLP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Para Influenza), Parvo and Bordatella.”

Also, ironically, pooches will not be allowed in the Big Dog House, an outfield pavilion.
