Watch UFC champion Ronda Rousey’s new ESPN ‘Nine for IX’ documentary

“Rowdy” Ronda Rousey, the first and only women’s UFC bantamweight champion probably deserves more than a 14-minute documentary. And said documentary, made for ESPN’s “Nine for IX” series to highlight female athletes, probably also deserves to be aired on the network’s flagship channel in prime time. After all, Rousey won “Best Female Athlete” at this year’s ESPY award, and was also nominated as the only female in the “Best Fighter” category. Not to mention, Rousey’s very existence in mixed martial arts has become a topic of controversy.

But alas, her truncated story, which was released today, is available online instead. If you’ve got under 15 minutes to spare, it’s worth the view.
