Premier League players might want to watch their toes next time a referee calls for a free kick or penalty. If they don’t, they might get accidentally spritzed by the shaving-cream-like substance made famous in the World Cup that marks where players should stand. The Premier League announced today that now it, too, would be using the water-based disappearing spray.

“It was clear from watching the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil that vanishing spray benefited referees, players and all those who watched the matches,” Premier League Chief Executive Richard Scudamore told the Associated Press.
Now, if only if only there was a spray to eliminate diving…
