Rory McIlroy reveals his iPhone passcode on TV. Oops.

Rory McIlroy made a classic gaffe, one of the few he’s made lately when he’s in the vicinity of a golf course.

During a rain delay at the PGA Championship, McIlroy, who entered the day with a one-stroke lead, pulled out his iPhone for selfies and the like. Naturally, CBS cameras were there and they caught him — gasp! — opening it and punching in his passcode. Which totally was 4589 — his May 4, 1989 birthdate.

Twitter lit up, McIlroy caught on (we hate that he’s quick that way) and that was the end of that.
