Ah, the innocence and exuberance of youth.
During the San Diego Padres-St. Louis Cardinals game Saturday, Padres third-base coach Glenn Hoffman tossed a foul ball to a man seated just behind the dugout. Jason Tighe, an early candidate for Pops of the Year, handed it to his little boy Noah. So far, so good. But then little Noah did what any kid might do: he threw it back — much to the amazement of his father.
It all ended well for the Russellville, Mo., family, though, because they got the ball back and Noah got to show off his arm, too.
