Brittney Griner throws down first dunk in WNBA playoff history

Brittney Griner dunking isn’t exactly news anymore, but this fast-break steal/slam was pretty solid, no?

Griner’s dunk stretched the Phoenix Mercury’s lead to 25 points in the third quarter on its way to a series-clinching 93-68 win over the Los Angeles Sparks in the Western Conference semifinals. Griner scored a playoff career-high 21 points on 9-of-9 shooting, which also set a WNBA playoff record for most attempted field goals without a miss.

She seemed pretty nonchalant about all of it.

“That’s what I do,” Griner joked, per the Associated Press. “I dunk.”
