The fastest member of Auburn Tigers might be their ball boy

In the first quarter of Auburn’s game against Arkansas, Tigers quarterback Jeremy Johnson hit wide receiver Melvin Ray near the sideline. Ray broke a tackle and at that point, no one was going to catch him, as he sprinted for a 49-yard touchdown. Well, maybe no one was going to catch him, but an Auburn ball boy did a remarkably impressive job keeping up with Ray down the sideline.

That kid has some jets! He did have a bit of a head start, but then again, he’s a ball boy, while Ray is an SEC wide receiver. Never let it be said that Auburn does not have a surplus of talent.

He previously had used 'Desmond Bieler' as his byline, but feels that shortening the first name to 'Des' nicely conveys his ever-decreasing gravitas. He also covers Fantasy Football.
