Trump previews Romney CPAC speech, after Romney CPAC speech
Donald Trump thinks Mitt Romney will give a great speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference today.
Unfortunately for The Donald, he’s about two hours too late.
“@MittRomney will give a great speech at CPAC today. He understands the threat from China,” Trump – who endorsed Romney last week — tweeted about 3:15 p.m. Friday afternoon.
But Romney had delivered his CPAC speech in Washington – at about 12:40 p.m.
On top of that, Romney’s speech barely touched on China. Instead, it was an address in which he touted his conservatism and defended his record as governor of Massachusetts.
