Bill O’Reilly, cheerleading for the feds

“The O’Reilly Factor” is a reliable basher of federal government activism — whether it’s bashing President Obama for spending too much on “social justice” or flogging the $16 muffin or slamming government housing programs.

Host Bill O’Reilly, however, changes tone a bit when the topic moves to medical marijuana, an area in which the federal government is talking tough. In a talk with California medical-marijuana entrepreneurs Steve DeAngelo and Andrew DeAngelo, O’Reilly says, “Now the feds say, ‘No, you’re not going to do it. I don’t care what California says.’ ” In a very approving tone of voice. That and O’Reilly’s not-so-convincing attempts to show compassion for the medical conditions of his guests are worth the five-minute investment in the clip above.
