Comeuppance for Romney-favoring pundits?

Howard Kurtz of CNN’s “Reliable Sources” asks whether there are any consequences for the Michael Barones and the Dick Morrises of the world — folks who used sophisticated-sounding political analysis to completely mis-predict the presidential election in favor of Mitt Romney.

Panelist Bob Cusack of The Hill suggests that four years from now, people will be playing clips of such wrong-guessing pundits, as a form of accountability.

Kurtz scoffs at the suggestion: “Nobody’s going to remember this four years from now.” Or: Everyone will remember this four years from now, and no one will care.
