Domino’s ten-foot pole for Rush Limbaugh

The siege of comments from angry Americans to Domino’s Pizza Inc. has all but stopped, according to the company. There are just a “remaining few,” says company spokesman Tim McIntyre, who continue to promote the false impression that Domino’s is a sponsor of the Rush Limbaugh Show.

As this blog reported yesterday, the company has never done such a thing.

In fact, it has done the exact opposite. McIntyre reports that when the company places national ads, it stipulates that the spots not fall within two hours of the Rush Limbaugh Show. Though it cannot control how its franchisees approach the same matter, it issues a strong recommendation that they do likewise.
