GLAAD, Martin get together

Following the suspension of CNN’s Roland Martin over a couple of homophobic tweets, the on-air talent has begun his tour of sensitivity training. He just met with representatives of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). The organization released this statement:

Today, Herndon Graddick, the Senior Director of Programs at GLAAD, and Roland Martin met in Los Angeles. The introduction is the beginning of an open and honest dialogue. Both parties came away with a better understanding of one another and look forward to continuing this dialogue.

So that’s it. Working on some details.
