O’Reilly calls himself a ‘punk’

In this segment of “The O’Reilly Factor,” Fox News analyst Bernard Goldberg, in softened tones, floats his theory that some reporters secretly wished that Hurricane Sandy had hit a big swing state like Ohio or Iowa, just so that their favored candidate, President Obama, could use the occasion to showcase his leadership skills in a consequential political theater. Beyond such dead-end conspiracy talk, the segment featured about four minutes of out-and-out Bill O’Reilly narcissism, as he and Goldberg wondered why Obama and Mitt Romney hadn’t accepted interview invitations from the “Factor.” O’Reilly conjectured that Romney had turned down the opportunity to focus fully on swing states.

“We’re not going to do this O’Reilly punk — we’re not going to bother with him,” suggested O’Reilly.
