The Washington Post has cleared Kendra Marr. Writes Post Managing Editor Liz Spayd via e-mail:
We’ve done a pretty thorough review of the stories she wrote at The Post and haven’t found anything of concern.
Why did The Post do this “thorough review”? Because of last week’s revelations that Marr had plagiarized material from other outlets. As is customary, the news obligated other outlets that had published her work to scrutinize it. From mid-2007 through mid-2009, Marr racked up more than 200 bylines — many of them shared — on business stories for The Post.
