Sarah Palin on Ron Paul and the media: Don’t whine

Perhaps Sarah Palin’s low public profile has induced amnesia.

In a Fox News appearance last night, Palin and On the Record host Greta Van Susteren addressed the Republican presidential race. Up popped the media’s treatment of candidate Ron Paul, one of the most insufferable topics in the 2012 campaign.

Refusing to veer from her utter predictability on such matters, Palin pronounced it unfair that Paul hasn’t gotten the media attention that his polling position might demand.

Then she mouths some words that suggest she’s forgotten one of the primary themes of her own time in the spotlight:

He can’t whine about it, though. Supporters can demand better of the media, though. But Ron Paul, he himself shouldn’t be the one to whine to the media about the unfairness.

The Google search “Sarah Palin whines media” nets more than 40 million results.
