“Amazing America with Sarah Palin,” a program on the Sportsman Channel featuring the title character on various outings, will live to see a second season in 2015, the channel announced today. Over its first season, “Amazing America” “helped propel the network to triple-digit year-over-year growth in households and key male demographics,” according to today’s release. The second season will include 12 episodes showcasing “exciting stories about inspiring American outdoor enthusiasts, craftsmen, as well as other notable Americans who go out of their way to help others.”

The Sportsman Channel isn’t confused about the sort of star it has on its hands. It claims that Palin has been “a dynamic figure in the media” ever since Sen. John McCain chose her as his running mate in the 2008 presidential race. Sportsman Channel even notes that Palin has acquired “nearly five million organic and engaged social media followers.”
