Not only did “Morning Joe” mention Sarah Palin’s call for impeachment of President Obama on today’s show, it also ran a snippet of the video in which Palin says “enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president” and “it’s time to impeach.” Bouncing off of Palin’s comments, co-host Mika Brzezinski lamented, “I’m not laughing. This scares me actually. It’s disturbing. I’m sorry. I’m not trying to be — I don’t think…That whole soundbite that we just played and the impact I know it has really scares me.”

Impact? If Palin’s rambling seven-minute anti-Obama video has any lasting resonance, the former vice presidential candidate can thank both Sean Hannity, who did a segment on Palin’s appeal on his show last night, and Brzezinski herself. That’s excellent (and free) product placement.
