Google asks: What do you love?

Google's site asks: What do you love?
Over at TechCrunch, some sleuthing turned up a new Google portal that asks you one simple question: What do you love?

Users answer that question with a query, and the search returns themed widgets displaying content and links to use Google services to discuss your interests.

This time of year — as you can see above — my interests turn to baseball. Popping that great American pastime into the site pulls up several small boxes showing off “baseball” through Google services such as Google Translate, Google Trends, Googel News and Google Earth, as well as links to create my own content through Gmail, Picasa and Moderator. There’s even a widget (of dubious utility) showing off a 3D image of a baseball.

TechCrunch’s MG Siegler noted that the best results from the site come via broad queries such as love, but is quite well-designed.
