Google rolls out nationwide Latitude Deals

Google has been offering check-in deals through its Latitude service for about a month now, but on Thursday it announced it would start offering Google Latitude deals nationwide.

Android and iPhone users can now download the latest Google Maps/Google Latitude app that gives them the ability to redeem coupons offered by thousands of companies such as American Eagle and Quiznos.

Users must check in using Latitude to take advantage of the deals. Once a user has gained status through repeated check-ins at a given store, he or she can become eligible for loyalty offers.

Latitude bargain-hunters will be able to see available and locked deals.
