HP to launch white TouchPad?

The TouchPad is barely out on the market, but documents posted by Precentral — a Palm/HP-centered tech site — suggest that the tablet will be getting a new, white, glossy 64GB model in August.

According to a road map Precentral published, the white TouchPad will also get a spec boost in the form of a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. The road map also suggests that a 4G (HSPA+) TouchPad for AT&T will come out in August, as well.

The TouchPad has been panned and praised by reviewers, who seem sold on the potential of the tablet’s webOS operating system, but not on its hardware.
