Modern Warfare 3 trailer released

Activision Blizzard released its first official peek at the gameplay in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the next installment of the extremely popular game due to drop Nov. 8.

This is the first installment of the game Activision has published since it fired the Modern Warfare series’ founders — Jason West and Vince Zampella — and their company Infinity Ward over a legal dispute, VentureBeat reported..

West and Zampella have since gone on to found Respawn Entertainment at rival publisher Electronic Arts.

The trailer features scenes of soldiers making their way through destroyed versions of New York City, Berlin and Paris, and promises to be...well...explosive:
