Nintendo is slashing prices left and right in a run-up to its big announcements at E3 next week.
The company said Tuesday that it is cutting the suggested retail price for its DS Lite handheld by $30, bringing the price down to $99.99.
The company also announced that it will rebrand six of its Mario games with red packaging to make them easier to identify.
The DS Lite price cut comes two months after Nintendo introduced the latest addition to the DS line — the 3DS — for $249.99.
Earlier this month, Nintendo cut the price of its Wii console to $149, in advance of the Wii 2.
