Poll: Have you bought the iPad 2?

The big day is here. It seems like only yesterday when all eyes were on San Francisco, waiting for the big anouncement, but for Apple fanatics the past nine days have been an eternity.

The iPad 2 is officially for sale online as of 1 a.m., Pacific Time or 4 a.m. Eastern time today. Of course, if you want to pick one up from a brick-and-mortar store, you’ll have to wait until 5 p.m., your local time.

Have you taken the plunge? Let us know here!

Haven’t made a decision yet? Here’s a recap of our best coverage to help.

For a quick idea of what the tablet has to offer, check out Rob’s hands-on from the launch event on March 2. Or see our chart on the differences between the iPad and the iPad 2.

If you’re more interested in the software features of the iPad 2 you may want to look at our post about the lastest operating system that’s shipping with it, Apple iOS 4.3. And while you may have heard the cameras aren’t great on the new tablet, hop over to our summary of first thoughts about Facetime on the iPad 2.

Those considering alternatives might want to check out Rob’s lukewarm (at best) review of the Motorola Xoom.

Still can’t get enough iPad 2? Our review roundup should hold you until Rob publishes his thoughts tonight.
