Report: Apple orders 15 million iPhones from supplier

Reports indicate the phones ordered for Pegatron do not differ much from the current iPhone 4. (BRENDAN MCDERMID - REUTERS)
More grist for the iPhone speculation mill: Taiwanese tech site Digitimes reports that Apple supplier Pegatron has received an order for 15 million iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S handsets for September 2011.

The tech site occasionally has some good information on timing and features of Apple products by tapping its contacts in the company’s supply line.

Citing unnamed sources in the upstream component market, Digitimes reported that the iPhones that Pegatron is producing are not that different from the current iPhone 4.
