Fresh on the heels of Verizon’s announcement of an LTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy Tab, a leak from Motorola suggests that the Xoom will also be getting a 4G upgrade.

The company will begin upgrading the tablets this September, according to a report from Droid Life.

Motorola has been promising a free 4G upgrade since the tablet launched, but it comes with one big hurdle: To get access to the faster network, you’ll have to ship the tablet back to Motorola.
