Call-out to Peace Corps community

The Post reported Sunday on how the Peace Corps responds when a volunteer overseas is a crime victim. Almost three years ago, the agency shifted responsibility from trained federal agents working for the inspector general’s office to the Peace Corps’ local security staff overseas.

We want to hear from current and former volunteers or anyone else associated with the Peace Corps. What are your views of the current system, and is it working? What have your experiences been with violent crime in the Peace Corps? Please respond below.
