Government shutdown or not, the Postal Service keeps going

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor threat of shutdown will keep America's letter carries from the swift completion of their appointed rounds this weekend.

The U.S. Postal Service — a quasi-government outfit that collects no taxpayer funding — will open wide its post office doors this weekend regardless of what happens on Capitol Hill.

The sign above will be hanging on post office doors nationwide.
