Government shutdown: What are they telling you?

Now that the Obama administration is instructing top agency bosses to start sharing the details of shutdown contingency plans with top career officials, we’re curious what federal workers are being told: If a shutdown occurs, will you have to work? Are you “essential” or “non-essential”?
