How would you use a 0.5 percent pay increase? | Federal Buzz

The 0.5 percent pay increase the White House proposed for federal workers in January wouldn’t mean much extra cash for most federal workers.

But other proposals are even less generous: The House Republican budget plan released Tuesday would freeze federal pay for another three years, and the House voted last month to freeze federal pay for at least this year.

For this week’s federal worker question of the week, we want to know what the difference between a little something and nothing would be for you. If it were to pass, and you got a 0.5 percent raise, what would you do with it?
