Giants take another Hokie, cornerback Jayron Hosley

Virginia Tech cornerback Jayron Hosley was picked in the third round of the 2012 NFL draft Friday night by the New York Giants, who used the 94th overall pick to select him.

Hosley led the nation with nine interceptions as a sophomore in 2010, but was hampered by a hamstring injury last season. He finished with a career-high 59 tackles and just three interceptions, but still decided to skip his senior year at Virginia Tech.

Hosley reportedly tested positive for marijuana at the NFL Scouting Combine in February.

The Giants previously took Virginia Tech running back David Wilson with the final pick of the first round Thursday.
