John Beck moving better, still limited

Quarterback John Beck appeared to be moving better Tuesday morning, but remained limited for a second day with a groin injury. Beck jogged downfield while running the two-minute offense during walk-throughs. But he didn’t take part in any 11-on-11 drills.

After missing two practices and being limited Monday, Chris Cooley was a full go Tuesday.

The Redskins opened practice with pads on, but switched to shells early in the session.

Backup guard Artis Hicks was not in pads and watched from the sidelines along with the other injured and recovering players, Malcolm Kelly, Ryan Torain, Oshiomogho Atogwe, Kareem Moore and LaRon Landry.

Back in pads was backup tackle Clint Oldenburg, who has been out sick since Friday.

Quarterback Kellen Clemens returned to practice after missing Monday to attend a funeral.
